Kasol a place with Awesome scenic beauty with one of the best weather conditions. It is situated at the bank of Parvati river that has a very good water flow. I cannot imagine the flow of river during Monsoon as during the summer and winter also the flow is too much. I spent 3 days there and it was one of the best trip to any Hilly areas. This place is great but little known by the people. Most of the people must have visited this place but not explored. I mean to say that people going to Manali(with tour package), always get to see the Manikaran Gurudwara but really don’t know about Kasol.
I tell you how this happens. If you are coming from Delhi to Manali then there is a place Bhuntar near Kullu. From Bhuntar, one road heads to Manali and other one to Manikaran. So People who wants to visit Manikaran Gurudwara, need to pass by Kasol. First you reach to Kasol and then reach to Manikaran which is 5km ahead of Kasol.
Kasol is also called by the name of Mini Israel. The reason behind is that Israelis visit this place so often and you can see them everywhere in Kasol.
This place is somehow and somewhere is popular among druggist. It is also said that this is unofficial Drug capital of India but this is the other side of this place. You can see Indians and Israelis taking drugs but I think and strongly believe that positive side of this area is much much much brighter than the negative things.

This place is very well connected by roads. You can take Volvo / State transport bus from Delhi to Bhuntar. From Bhuntar there are local buses and taxis you can opt for. The drive from Bhuntar to Kasol is also awesome and you are gonna just love this place.
