Way back when KBC(part-1) was announced..1 of my friend had filed a petition against KBC in Mumbai High court stating that it is a Gamble, not a quiz show & should be stopped airing...
How? A. Person answering a quiz show is actually putting his earned money for the questions to get more & more & has no guarantee of getting it back like jua.
Since this was petitioned & KBC mgmt were worried of the negative marketing for such issue..They approached my friend to take back his petition & in return they offered -that any one of his frined /relative (proxy) will be guaranteed for quiz & will definetly win Rs. 1 Crore. They even confirmed that only 1 or 2 guys will be reaching that level & he (my firned /proxy) will be one of them gaining popularity.
How to believe this...
If we all remember Lottery system, Lotto, Housie, howzee etc were ban/not available in Maharashtra earlier.. before KBC. Unfortunately the petition my friend filed (to stop KBC) went against him by stating that the person is using his brains & gaining the initial amount also from their question & he actually is not at all putting his personal money. Also it is his wish to further answer the question to gain more & the person is actually using his brain. Now KBC2 is available..
My urge to all people is not to get into the flow (lalach) of such programs like KBC Am sure many of us might have recd.mails of how much KBC is gaining from Rs. 2 Lakhs SMS question thru’ sms which we sent for answers..each & every of the product in KBC is commercialised. Well no harm in gaining profit..but hello what is our society getting from it. Think if we could utilise our 2Rs of SMS / call which we make to get into it...can be utilised by some social org. NGO to make our Society better..Well, KBC also does that in 1 or 2 shows by getting celebrity in their shows & providing the gained amount to NGOs..But is that eno’f against the amount they r gaining..well I don’t think so..
