KBC 3 is on air, we are writing reviews on it and Star Plus is having a ball of a time! I have seen one episode of KBC 3 and overall it was good! SRK is doing the job very well and there is no doubt about it. But has someone ever thought that what exactly is Kaun Banega Crorepati? Is it the desire to earn money, or the quest for knowledge or just an oppurtunity to make a public appearance. For a minute let us consider, KBC 1 and 2 minus Big ’B’ and KBC 3 minus SRK.
Let us say instead of them it would have been Sidharta Basu or Derrik ’O’ Brian. Do you think the show still would have been this popular?? The answer is an obvious no. How many of us would have watched ’ The Bournvita Quiz" or India’s Chid genius" KBC is then certainly not the quest for knowledge! It is a trap for making money! Imagine how much they would have been earning by receiving SMS and phonecalls from millions of people everyday .
Finally the chances of getting a call - maybe one in a million. The chances of getting through in an entrance examination would certainly be better than getting a call in KBC3. So next time when you freeze eyes in front of SRK just figure out what are you watching - A Game Show or a quiz or Just a celebrity show!!!
