Whatta show man! But I am gonna review KBC from a different angle. Before I had the chance to experience KBC with Amitabh Bacchan, I was already a great fan of ’Who wants to be a millionaire’ here in the US with a really energetic and funny host Regis Philbin.
So when the KBC show started in India..well I was curious and excited to see it. I loved Amitabh in the show but I couldn’t help noticing a few things ..
I was surprised at how quick contestents change their answers when AB asks them if they wanna use a lifeline..Its as if there is small hint somewhere that please think over your answer again...
Also the pace of KBC is slower than the show here. AB keeps repeating every single detail over and over again, maybe he has been asked to do it that way, but sometimes its difficult to think when the host is continuously saying things in front of you.
However I think KBC intersts me more as it has India related questions which really makes it thought provoking and exciting.
All in all, I think this show is a wonderful way of sitting back and relaxing, gaining information and enjoying it all with AB.
Ofcourse its AB’s unique charisma that adds to the respect of the show and sets it apart.
Also for a change I think parents would be happy if their kids get hooked on to this show...what better way of learning than this!
