I am ardent admirer of Amitabh Bachan..and I think the only great thing about KBC is him.Had it been any , I mean absolutely anyone else, the show would have fallen flat on its face.
The panache and style with which he carries off the show is worth a watch.It is his extreme down to earth and humble attitude that puts the candidate at ease rather than fumbling being so awe struck by his great personality.
Like I said earlier Amitabh is the only reason for KBC being such a popular show.However the drawback I find is the level of questions asked.I mean I honestly think it does not increase one’s GK as most people claim.If u want to increase your GK watch MasterMind on BBC.
Pick up an average person with ordinary IQ and add a dash of luck and u have a KBC Hero! Pleeeaaaseee... there are far more truly brilliant people around which deserve these accolades who ironically are not even recognized.And that is was KBC does, picks up average people. I dare KBC to pick the contestants of MasterMind...Each and every one of them would win a crore and KBC’s ship would sink!!
