My Kaya experience was worse from all the fronts be it money, service or results. I went to Kaya to get rid of acne and pigmentation and was suggested a package of 10K including 4 pimple free sessions and 4 glycolic peel sesssions at 15 days gap each.
I am putting the overall experience and results in pointers below:- The appointment timings were never respected and there was always a minimum delay of 15 mins. Sometimes it was more than half an hour and worse of all, once I waited for an hour for a session, It was a 10 AM appointment, neither there was doctor nor the staff. -
Out of 8 sessions, the doctor was not available in 3 consecutive sessions. Even after repeated requests from me, as I couldn’t see any results, the doctor was not made available and I was told that there was a 1 month training going on and all the doctors were attending that training. In the remaining 5 sessions, there was a different doctor everytime...I have not seen the same doctor twice in my 5 sessions which is shocking. Ideally, each case should be handled by a doctor who should continuously measure the progress and suggest accordingly during the sessions.
In typical skin treatments, doctor monitors the progress and sometimes suggests medicines along with the session depending on how the case is progressing.- Results - There was no reduction in pigmentation. Although pimples have reduced but they are still coming and leave a mark also. During my last session, I told the doctor that there was no effect on pigmentation and pimples. I was told to take another package of 10K for further treatment. How convenient !!!- Staff is very courteous but the branch head was not apologetic even when the appointment was delayed or the doctor was not available.
Initially when I went to Kaya, I knew that they charge exorbitantly but I was expecting good service and results and I took the package. But, it was the most unsatisfactory experience. I think my money completely went down the drain, overall a very bad experience and I would not suggest Kaya to anyone. I would really appreciate if someone can suggest me a skin clinic/doctor which is worthy.
