The annoying spyware (which is also detected by lavasoft ad-aware) cannot be removed as it is needed by the program to run. That is, Kazaa would not load without these files. I should know, I tried removing them using Ad-aware.
Kazaa has another con: it makes your computer prone to crashing. I’ve only used the free version (with the ads) and I’ve had all sorts of errors in my laptop. Even my sister’s desktop and a few other neighbors have noticed this problem. I just recently uninstalled Kazaa and my computer now functions better.
It’s such a shame, since I really like this program. It’s user-friendly and very fast. But I don’t think I’ll sacrifice my laptop for a few free files.
