Kelva beach is one of the lesser known beaches near Mumbai, it’s a it’s a Mere to 22.5 hours drive from Mumbai the beach is about 8 km long it has a largest stretch of beautiful coastline of Arabian Sea in Thane District. The unique feature of the beach is the abundance of the suru trees most amazing and happening place with great sunset view with awesome weather and most memorable place to go with friends and also with family to make some moments very enjoy I love this beach, it was so serene and so beautiful it was a perfect weekend escaped which was well maintained and the surroundings are also clean and tidy. There are in all three forts on the beach one is at the Southern tip of the beach and is submerged in sea water during high tides the smaller one is located with the coniferous trees near the northern tip on the beach.
You can find many number of Resorts for overnight stay and relax with family and also with friends other local food stall are also available near beach side some local hawkers are selling tad goals, coconut water, local fruits like Banana , Sapota gola ice, Bhelpuri , Panipuri and lots of other stuff. Parking facilities also available near beach side. We can enjoy beach with horse cart , camel ride, paragliding at the cost of 300 rupees per person and also we can find a small children park near Sheetal Devi Temple and other fun activities.
