What makes a comedy different than other comedy shows ? Its Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. Apart from those mentioned we also have the content - Which does not include dual meanings to the scripts, no occurence of the ’’S’’ word and a comedy that is whole lot of fun. Kenan and Kel is a show made for the channel Nickelodeon and aired more often on the same channel.
Kenan and Kel are two regular teenagers in chicago, and students in a high school. Kenan has a part time job in a grocery store run by Chris. Kenan and Kel hang out together, and get into trouble. Trouble is their middle name and the whole point of having this show. Getting in and out of trouble, sometimes getting away and sometimes being caught ( usually they are caught) is what provides entertainment to the audience. Kenan has a sister who likes Kel. Kel Loves orange soda.
The show starts with a K and K making their entry out of the red curtain. Kenan gives a gist of the days show but usually Kel is unaware of what awaits him. Then going back to the actual show, They put on their performances. Usually getting into trouble for some silly exploit Kenan wants to try. Kel , rather born with a bohemian curse of wrecking everything he walks into, is rather skeptical and yet wants to be alongside with Kenan.
Every episode , you have them doing funny stuff, like this one time they decide to bunk school because they didnt want to recite a spanish song. They go to a bank to draw some cash , but the bank is being robbed and these two are right in the middle of action. One such episode, Kenan assumes he is in trouble because the school principal wanted to meet Kenans parents. Not knowing that she wanted to comment on his good performance , Kenan hires two professional actors to pretend to be his parents. The trouble begins when one of the actors invite the Principal to join them for dinner at Kenans house.
The show doesnt have a moral, neither does it have something for teenagers to learn. Its just fun, watching the two teenagers getting into trouble. The Theme song given by LL cool J at the intro is good listening. The show also ends with the same way it started when Kenan and Kel come out of the red curtain and address the audience , and get into more trouble. The next trouble, of course, is reserved for viewing at the next episode.

watch this and many other episodes , just for fun. the cast performance is the best for such shows. Kenan and Kel in real life are best friends , went to the same High School, they were even casted a movie Good burger. they have together performed in shows like All That, and for a few appearances in Rocky and Bullwinkle movie.
