We moved to Chennai recently from Delhi.. I bought this Kenstar Little Cooler hoping that it will ease the Chennai afternoon heat but it hardly produces cool air. Its just Slightly cooler than a fan. we need to add water to it. Moreover water level indicator is not perfect.. Bakwas. I ended up adding too much water, because the indicator showed just little above half capacity, and it started leaking from the sides and made a real mess after adding water, obv, it becomes too heavy to move around.. and if you need to carry it and mount it on something at chair level, its a REAL pain in the XXX moreover water spills when you’re carrying the cooler to mount it so given the space it occupies, weight & disappointing Less Coolness.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go for this or any other cooler for that matter.. better to go for cheaper option like table fan. or if you want cold air, spend a few more bucks and go for an assembled split ac. I thot it might reach near-AC coolness but its no match for air conditioner. Be prepared to be disappointed if you imagined anything close to AC DONT buy any air cooler.
