I purchased this product in august’2011 because it was the only under counter water filter available in India, manufactured by a supposedly reputable company. The pump broke down after 25 days. The technician came and replaced giving no proper reason for the breakdown.
After a month, the filter started leaking and there was no supply of filtered water. The technician came and rectified. We also had several problems like airlock, leaks, etc. All this problems even though the water usage was less than 2 liters/per day!!! Then in Jan 2013 the filter was changed at the cost of Rs.1500. A
couple of weeks later, the pump and the RO broke down and the reason given for the break down was not convincing. They asked us to replace the pump and RO(the cost of these two is Rs.5000) with only 3 months warranty for the new parts.
All this problems after I paid Rs.14, 350/- for a water filter which I was assured was trouble free and needed only filter change after 700 hours of usage @ a filtering rate of 15 liters/hour which converts to about 700 weeks at our consumption.
Based on this experience I would strongly advice everybody to stay away from this water filter and waste time and money on such "reputable" companies who only spend money on aggressive advertising and fool customers by slick marketing.
