One fine Sunday two sales person Nagesh and Pradeep came down, and explained the features and demonstrated the RO system. We had planned for a budget of 5 K but this damm stuff costed us 14500 bucks. We were happy with the demo and next the sales person got and installed the RO system promptly. Just to obtain more orders from our apartment. We decided in flat 1 hour to buy the product. The sales person Nagesh told us that we can make payment after being satisfied. One condition we told him that we will make payment directly in the name of Kent RO systems Gurgoan or Noida wherever their HO was located, which after lot of reluctance they accepted.
When it came to midway servicing, they gave all type of excuse stating that it should be serviced by the dealer who sold the product etc. When I gave a call the sales person started disconnecting calls on his cell phone. The call centre and their HO too came back to my e mail query but I was having problems with their product performance. We were falling sick, due to low mineral content. It was below 40 points. The ideal should be above 60 points.
Ultimately I sent a sms message that I am filing a 420 case against the company MD for cheating a customer, since I had made direct payment to the company, the company people started responding. It is real tension for us to follow up. We consulted our legal advisor too who told us he will prepare a foolproof case against Kent RO for not living upto the promise of after sales service within the warranty period.
After many follow ups the service engineer came and repaired our unit which was filled with dust particles, they don t have proper equipment too which is shocking. Further he set the adjustment of mineral content above 60 and left us with a bitter after taste. Lol
The moral of the story is never believe salesmanship of RO water filters, the best warranty is to make payment in the name of the company, because dealers and company staff keep changing. However surprisingly product performance is better than expected.
After the budget prices should have come down for the RO system.
