Great Product, But Pathetic Service

We have been using Kent UV Maxx at home for 10+ months now. We had an Aquaguard Nova before, which was working well. The only drawback was there was no storage. Even if we need a glass of water, one has to switch it on and wait for 30 seconds. By which time, most people will lose patience. Arrangements like storing them in a container etc didn’t work well. So we switched to Kent UV Maxx,  which has a 7 litre storage tank. We are happy with the product. It is easy to use and gives pure water.

I live in Mysore, where we are supplied Cauvery water. It has lot of sediment content. Hence the need to get the UF filter, Carbon filter and Sediment filter cleaned every couple of months, was high. We also got an external Thread filter installed. That needs to be cleaned as well. And getting these serviced is where the pain is. I need to call them 4-5 times before the guy finally turns up. Since, its almost a year, I am trying to get all the filters replaced. I have called the authorized service person in Mysore, as listed on Kent’s website, 4 times now, Yet to see the guy show up.

Even if they show up, I have observed that the service people are not trained well and are quite careless. In one of the previous visits, the service guy bypassed the UF filter and said there will be no more problems!

If Kent is serious about their brand, they need to make more trained personnel available.

Have also written to "service@kent.co.in". Yet to hear from them.

In contrast, Aquaguard service was excellent. They generally showed up the same day.

Until Kent improves their Service, I would be hesitant to recommend Kent to others.
