I recently did a Chardham Yatra with Kesari tours. It was appauling. Never travel with them. The Tour Manager and his assistants cannot speak English. They will not even try to speak in Hindi. Secondly they had no product knowledge. He was absolutely useless. He did not even know the rivers that was flowing there right. Very vague about any question.He was late coming to bus and guests have to wait for him. Hotel standards are very bad. Even though there better hotels in Chardham Yatra sector they choose to go with Worst hotels. The Cooking Hygiene is pretty bad, I was shocked to see couple of mice running around the food area. The cooks use the same towels to wipe their and face and the same for the utensils. Salada are handled by hand. Sandwiches are made previous night and left un covered with flies over it. The don’t wear any gloves or anything for serving food either. Overall guests are treated like herds and not respected at all. Cups of teas given in small plastic cups. Even that takes ages to get good tea. The communication between the Tour Manager and the assistants are very bad. Half the time one would say one reporting time and another one would one. So we will have guests either coming early or late. If you have a choice please do not travel with them. Our bus driver who was from Delhi had more product knowledge and spoke better English then the tour manager.Many of us got a lot of information from him.
