I went to KFC restaurant on 6th of May with my family in Durgapur. We were celebrating my elder brother’s 4th marriage anniversary. After a lot of discussion we decided to try KFC which is located at City Centre inside Junction mall.
First of all we had a little apprehension about the restaurant because of the heavy pricing but we entered there anyway. The interior of the restaurant was bright and happy. I loved the graphics they used on the wall. The place was very spacious although there were a fair amount of customers still we did not have to struggle in order to get a table.
The tables and the floor were squeaky clean, if hygiene is your priority when it comes to choosing a restaurant then KFC is a good choice for you. We ordered a bucket of Hot & Crispy chicken with Chizza and some Pepsi. Hot & Crispy will definitely grow on you, it was hot, smoky, crispy outside and soft inside. Chicken at its best. chizza is a new preparation that they have added in their menu and it was worth a try too.
The waiters were courteous and polite. They were well dressed too.There were some leftovers and we asked one of the waiter to get it packed so that we can take it home, he arranged us a KFC box and a carry bag to carry it along.
Then I went to the washroom and I was slightly disappointed because the basins were dirty and the force of the tap water was way too high, I almost wet my shirt in the process. One more thing is their music. I think KFC has terrible taste in music, okay!! first of all the sound system was not configured properly or they might have used below par sound systems because it didn’t sound good and the song selection was a disaster.
Overall I can say it was an okay experience for us and if money is not an issue for you and if you have cravings for chicken then KFC is the place to go.
