The nearest Kentucky to me is nearly an hour away so every time we go up there shopping it’s always a group trip to Kentucky!
No matter what time of the day I go there’s always a queue. Not just a little queue either, usually it’s right out the door. It’s only a little place and the staff don’t tend to break their backs rushing to serve people so if you want to eat there you have to be prepared to queue. Because they are so busy you also have to fight for your table. While you are queuing send someone in to get a table. When you get in there you will notice several hovering bodies all waiting to pounce on a table the minute someone stands up. For this reason send the quickest person that’s with you in with all of your bags so they can spread them out over the table once they have managed to get one.
At the front of the queue you finally get your meal. Kentucky food is much better than Burger King or McDonalds but still priced around the same. You can buy big meals if there are lots of you with immense amounts of chicken in, yum.
So, got food and table, now eat. You have to eat with everyone who’s waiting for a table watching, usually drooling. Now that you have your table take your time and show them that you are enjoying the food immensely. Make the most of it. When you have finished your meal throw the rubbish away! Bins are provided and I hate people leaving their mess on the table. If you help the staff people will get served faster and if everyone does it maybe you will get served faster too!
The only reason I go into Kentucky is because of the food. I think that it’s the best fast food (??!!?) that you can buy and because of the taste of their food I am prepared to queue and wait. If they got their queues sorted out, maybe hire more staff, everything will be perfect.
