A thriller

The name and the songs that I had seen prior to watching the movie gave me no clue as to what to expect. I expected it to be a regular Rishi Kapoor/Neetu Singh romance with some rough weather, or buffonery. When I did see the movie, it was mind-blowing. I wouldn’t be surprised if this were a take off on some English movie. But, with regular masala-limitations, this is still a movie worth watching.

As the name says, it all starts like a game - a practical joke - between college friends. There is a robbery that happens across the tea stall that Rakesh Roshan, RK and NS visit. RR casually convinces RK and NS that they should call the shopkeeper and pretend to be the actual robbers. Reluctantly, they join in the game, but it becomes a serious affair that could well lead to indicting the three in not only robbery but murder too.

Events take an unexpected turn and they find money in their hands and mysterious phone calls chasing them! And, suddenly, RR is nowhere to be found - his girlfriend being one of the victims!

Who the culprit is and how the practical joke becomes a nightmare is the story.

Songs are quite famous like ’’Ek main aur ek tu’’ and ’’khullam khulla pyar karenge’’ are quite hummable. It is a good movie to watch once.
