When Mr Govind Menon chooses to make a movie word to word from one of the most popular books of all time, ’’Love story’’, you would think that he would atleast have the coutesy to mention it in the credits. Far from the its much publicized ’orginality’ and realism, this movie is simply a poor tasteless version of the much deeper, more eloquent book. Even some of the dialogues from the book are present in the HINDI VERSION. Is this the most one can expect from supposedly talented ’art directors’ who coo on realism and the fact that the ’hero gets horny’???? Please!!!!!! And please Himanshu Malik must never act again, after such an insipid and lifeless performance as this. And whoever played the role of Lekha’s father, take him far away from the cinema scene...
