I have seen a lot of places to claim to be family restaurants. However, one begins to get a bit sceptical if they also have a bar. A vision of unruly youngsters and misbehaved people arises. However, this restaurant mangaes to keep the ambience and tone of the place very successfully.
The Restaurant is placed in one fo the most prime areas of Pune, in Deccan Gym area. As you are greeted at the door by a guard of very courteous manner, most iof your fears are dispelled. Once you are inside the use of subdued lighting and attention by the waiters of the restaurant guidung you to your table makes you comfortable.
One of the most commendable things about the place is its good service, a very personal attention is paid to each of its customers making you feel like you own the place. Start with starters which really put you in a good mood. Especially the non vegetarians are in for a nice surprise. The tandoori items are excellent and the vegetarian starters too are quite passable. Some time might may be taken but your wait will be well rewarded. Once this is over, go to the main course and let the staff decide for you. Just give them the general direction and they will cook up for you a sumptous meal.
My recommendation is Chicken Tikka masala and Dal fry along with Tanoori Roti. The chinese dishes are not as good as Indian ones but are eatable. If you still have place remaining after this meal try their Kulfi. ice creams are very costly in this place, though, and more option will be available just oustside.
Taking all things in consideration trry the place at least once. Especially if you are in a party. The kids might be a bit bored though as the leg space is severly limited. Hope you enjoyed the review. Be sure to write to me.
