Just watched this film today, actually I wanted to see it earlier but just could not get the time. The movie has very good trailers and songs.
A few trailers of the movie were really good and interesting. The story looked quite fresh and new with the concept of working women and house husband. But the movie turns out to be really boring. The movie looks good for some part in the beginning but soon it could not hold itself and the story just rips aparts. I am a big fan of Kareena Kapoor but even she could not hold the film together and by the end of the film I was really BORED and I regreted my decision of watching the film and my money just got wasted.
The film has Kareena as Kiya and Arjun Kapoor as Kabir in the lead. So Kiya is an independent women who loves her job and career while kabir is the son of a business man and is very rich. He is not shy of crying in public and wants to be like his mom who was a housewife as he is really impressed by her. Kabir meets Kiya and then the same old romance and love begins. In the beginning this looked fresh but by the interval I almost left the theatre but then I remembered I had payed for it and decided to watch the later half. The romance on the train scenes still look good but nothing more.
The most ANNOYING thing about the movie is the various adds in the movie from safolla to stayfree and so many more stuff. This was really bad and after a point looked like the movie is coming on any tv channel with many many adds.
Kareena in the film looks really good, beautiful and independent. She portrays the mordern women and has done that really well. Arjun Kapoor has done decent work but could look tht good. He portrays the role of the ideal man who not only does the household work and takes care of the house but also can protect his woman. Even though he plays a new and fresh character he still carries his old north Indian fan that just makes him look like any of his old films. I really did not like him in the movie.
The songs in the movie are not very good except one. The dance track is also just a copy and does not give a fresh effect. The songs did not come upto the expectations.
In the end I would only like to say that guys Please don not waste your money on this movie. Its just plain boring and it will not come up to your expectations.
