Very Good Experience

I was in the mood for Chinese this weekend but didnt feel like going all the way to my favourite place. We were around Anna Nagar that time and saw Kim Ling restaurant. We decided to give it a try and I have to say, its a keeper. We will be going there again soon. The restaurant is pretty small but the decor is very nice. We went in a little early, around 8 so there wasnt any wait. We did notice people waiting for tables as we were leaving around 9.15 or so. Am not sure if they take reservations. We were seated promptly and the waiter gave our menus and helped us make selections. My husband cant eat too spicy food so we had to be careful. We had the manchow soup followed by egg fried rice and kim ling noodles. We decided to play it safe since it was our first time there. It was delicious :-) Next time, for sure we will have some starters and try other dishes. The portion size was more than we could eat and the waiter doggy bagged the rest of our meal. I re-heated it for lunch the next day and it had kept well. The only discordant note was the kids from the big table running around wildly, screaming. The parents did try to control them and even took them out by the waiting area for which am thankful. Service was prompt and never hurried, giving us lots of time to enjoy our food and conversation. We had some ice cream and a lemon soda for dessert and they were great as well.I would certainly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves chinese like I do.
