After thinking a lot if I should spend so much just to read books, I decided to go for it. I bought the Kindle Paper-white 3G+ WiFi model. It cost around Rs. 15000 including scratch guard and case cover. I have been using this for three months now and the battery life is decent. I have charged only thrice. But, a friend of mine suggested that the battery lasts even longer if you switch the device in "Airplane Mode".
This cuts off the WiFi & 3G data connections which saves up to 15% of the battery discharge. Buying books is very easy and cheaper when compared to paperbacks. Even if you buy books using any other application or device, it gets automatically synced to the Kindle once it is connected to WiFi or 3G.
**Cons**: This device is completely black & white. It does not come with wall charging adapter. You have to use your smartphones/ tablets adapter.
