Hi all
i have purchased a kinetic 4s 5 months ago... having previously ridden the kiho for many years (and loved it!), I was very glad that kinetic introduced 4 stroke version of this classic. really should have done much earlier. anyway better late than never.
the vehicle is very good. it is very easy to ride, and balance and control; definitely easiest of all.
and it is reliable. and it is giving me excellent mileage. I am getting about 55 kmpl which I think is damn good, the earlier kiho used to give me about 35. so this has got all the best things of the kiho and done away with the kihos many problem which was low mileage. but then that was 2 stroke and this is 4 stroke.
now you go to see this. a motorcycle (4 stroke, 100cc) in actual city riding gives you basically 65 kmpl max. I know they say 85-95-100 etc but really you will get 65 kmpl or so. So 55kmpl is really as good as bike mileage; and in fact it is so much easier to ride since no gear-changing is there; and it is a true family vehicle which everyone in your home can use (wife, father, son, daughter etc). For me, it is my vehicle but sometimes my wife needs to go here or there; and she can take it. otherwise we would have to buy a separate one for her!!
only con is there is not much underseat storage. but to me, mileage was more important than storage as I can always just keep my bag on the floorboard and that works fine. I am not willing to go for a vehicle which has more storage but is not as fuel efficient/as easy to balance e.g. activa.
dealer and servicing are good too. my experience wiht kinetic has always been very positive so no surprises there. overall, I recommend this vehicle for those who want to save on petrol bills and want a hasslefree, easy-for-all-to-use two wheeler.
