I had the opportunity to ride the Kinetic Boss (KB) for a year, , it was a borrowed bike so my review has to be taken in the light of me having used a second hand bike, ,
Hmmm, , , well for one thing there are not many bosses on the road so there was a uniqueness in having one, , spare parts are a hitch, , I had broken my front brake lever and just couldnt replace it , , spare parts are available at Kinetic Dealers. Mileage was okey dokey , , around 62-63 km/ltr , , I ride with uniform acceleration and deccleration , , and gear shifts were also smooth, , Its got nice balance , , and handling is smooth and so are turn cycles, , pick up is also nice, , ,
All in all a good bike, , but I wonder if they are making them anymore, , I used to ride from my city Bhubaneswar to Puri and Konark quite often (a 40 - 45 km in a speed of 50kmph), , and it has given no problems whatsoever, , ,
The only downer was its reserve fuel thingie, , there was some problem with the fuel tank that even with 1.3 ltrs of fuel it would behave as if the fuel tank is dry, , I was told that this is "Company Defect" I think if the float in the fuel tank could be fixed this could be resolved but my friendly neighborhood garagewallas could never fix and I too never visited the kinetic dealers in Cuttack, , ,
I have returned the KB and am going for a Bajaj Discover 135cc and will be writing soon about that one, ,
