Kinetic Honda has come out with a new variant of its famous kinetic model, the Kinetic Honda ZX.
The Kinetic Honda ZX has been well advertised as having a fuel average of 50kmpl on road, while lookwise the new variant seems to be the same with no new major additions.
The Kinetic Honda with its autogears has been a hit with people who enjoy gearless bikes and willingly sacrifice top end performance and pickup, well the Kinetic Honda is a compromise.
Coming back to its average, the much touted 50kmpl is not delivered on road, but the Kinetic Honda ZX just barely manages to squeeze around 40+kmpl on road. The pricing is on the higher side, and I definitely feel it should be toned
down to 33k something.
Suspension and braking continues to be shaky, and sudden braking at higher speeds could be dangerous.
The ground clearance of the bike is poor because of the smaller wheels, and becomes an ache during the rainy seasons.
The head lights are not powerful enough and need to be reviewed.
While the only advertised change is the fuel consumption, lookwise the Kinetic Honda ZX is going nowhere, with respect to its predecessors. Cosmetically a few changes in the styling like, a helmet holder, better headlights and sporty colors as available in the Kinetic Marvel would have helped a great deal.
Everything considered, the Kinetic Honda ZX is still the best in its class as compared to offering from other manufacturers.
Though the others I feel may outclass it in the near future if the same trends with the Kinetic Honda ZX continue...
