Wheni was looking for a scooter, some people were recommending to me the activa. their reason? thats what you see on road. sorry but I thought that was a rather lame reason. so I decided to do market research, which meant reading reviews on mouthshut, going to dealers, talking in detail to owners of various scooters in market, reading up automags etc. because I was spending 40k and wanted to make sure I made the BEST POSSIBLE CHOICE.
i learnt that activa owners complain a lot about mileage, about expensive service and maintenance, dealer attitude, starting trouble, etc. other than that they rate their vehicle as ok and dont really GUSH about it
On the other hand, nova 135 owners were so delighted with their vehicles, they praised it for performance, fuel efficiency, affordable maintenance, storage space etc. they are happy to talk to you for long long time to tell you that really, this is the better scooter.
auto magazines also praise the nova. and when I took a test ride and demo, I was impressed and decided to go for it.
and after 4 months, I say that it is everything I expected it to be and more. I am really more than thrilled with it.
