When I saw the ad for this vehicle and test drove it I was pretty impressed and convinced that this vehicle is going to take its category by storm, instead I would say that this has occupied the last possible position in its category.
I used to own a honda activa for the past 6 years before I bought this one in the first 6 months of using flyte I got more complaints from it than what igot from the 6 years of using activa.i bought the vehicle in jan 08 and problems started occuring from the first week itself there wasnt any one part of the vehicle which was completely flawless fuel was leaking, speedometer wasnt working to add my problems my dealer shut his shop forever selling only 2 flytes the other one being my friend who has equally bad problems if not more.
When we contacted the division head of kinetic we got not much help soon we realised that we had taken stepped into a sinking ship unable to use the vehicle because of its long list of complaints I had to contact the nearest service center nearly 45 kms away from where I stay and pay for everything including for service which is supposed to be free.but even then the scooter wouldnt improve it has been almost one and a half years now and I have not been able ride this continously for a month without any complaints.
This is one of the worst model of scooter available in the market the flaws it has completely overshadows its advantage of having 125cc power, good mileage etc.Now mahindra have taken over kinetic and I hope they do something about this vehicle and also improve their customer reations dept because its one of the worse ihave ever dealt with.as of now wouldnt recommend kinetic sym flyte to any one of my friends any other scooter is better than this one any day!
