I have been using kinetic form the time they launched the very first kinetic honda in 1987. The red color of the scooter attracted me a lot and I was the first person to purchase it in the garhawal himalayas.
With lot of enthusiasm I rode the vehicle. I should say at that time it was marvellous. All new instrument console, new design mirrors, a totally new body look. Every thing was perfect. The only draw back was in the changing of the rear wheel which requires the dismantling of the silencer to access the punctured wheel. Great vehicle with great goodies. The paint work and the graphics very much above the best. Truly a scooter which stood above the rest.
The kinetic zoom also has the same features. The speedo console is changed. The switch gears are the same, the same outer panels, but the graphics are now worst.
The silencer now touches the speedbreakers now and then. The pickup is poor. One thing I would like to mention is that if properly maintained the kinetic can easily give 50-55 kmpl on road not on paper.
One major drawback of the new machines is that the head light is the poorest portion. It dangerous to drive the vehicle in the night. Kinetic should take note of that and do something.
On an all the vehicle is not a bad buy. Go for one if you love simple riding
