I travelled with my bro by Kingfisher on 13-Sep-2009 from Ahmedabad to Chennai via Delhi.
Originally, our flight was direct. But later they phoned us and informed that flight was cancelled. So the best alternative was via Delhi, but wasting about 5 hr. On board service was good. Food really delicious and free.
But after we got down at Delhi at about 7.30 am, we were not taken care of. We asked for some bathroom facility or a hotel room, but the person at Kingfisher counter said Sorry.
No free snacks or refreshments. We had to kill 5 hrs. at Delhi airpot and spent few hundred rupees since everything is very expensive at airports. Further, the connecting flight was late by about 30 minutes. We reached Chennai at about 4 pmIf flight was not cancelled, we could have been at Chennai within 3 hrs.
