Kismat-Wrong Title

I watched this movie yesterday when my friends were over, and what can I say? I didn’t even watch all of it, but up to wherever I viewed, the movie was a waste of time. In the beginning a little boy is left on the train by his Chacha and Chachi, because his father has died. This is little Bobby Deol, AKA TONY.

What I don’t understand is why do Indians or even Pakistanis change their names to English names? Stick to your own culture.

Then they show this corny way of changing from past to present. Tony is running from a group of boys after stealing a sandwich from someone, and then they show him as Bobby Deol, still running. I thought that was a little stupid. He keeps on stealing and mugging, and is sent to jail numerous times.

Then comes in Priyanka Chopra. Dancing like a little slut Tony is turned on. The song she is dancing to is actually not that bad, but just listen to what happens. Conveniently, while Priyanka is dancing, only he, out of the thousands of people in the audience, is shining with some kind of aura. And same with Priyanka. What is this? How is he shining in the middle of no where?

Anyway, whenever he sees Priyanka after that, theres an annoying ’’Hey hey hey hey hey’’ tune, and Tony is making a face as if he’s just had an orgy. Is this movie perverted or what! The love story would just not come to an end. When I stopped watching they were still not together yet, and the same ’’Hey hey hey hey hey’’ tune kept playing whenever they met. I’m sorry, I’m impatient. I can’t bear to hear ’’Hey hey hey hey hey’’ fifty times before lovers even start talking. I just stopped the movie and watched some TV with my friends.

I like Bobby Deol, I really do. Don’t get me wrong, he’s one of my favorite actors. But why in the world did he film this movie? Why did he even accept the offer? It was just so stupid, there are no words to describe. The word ’Stupid’ is too good to describe. I’m sorry, Bollywood needs to come out with better movies. Hopefully in the future some good movies do come out.
