Years have passed hastily and I transformed to an adult from a child.Tastes and preferences underwent drastic change at every stage at life. But one thing which has not changed is my kissan jam. I have been eating it since my childhood and do so even to this day. The best part about this jam is it’s versatality. It tastes great with just about everything. U can put it between ur breads or spread it into a roti to make an affordable, time saving and a delicious roll. U can even eat it alonh with dosas. So, u can use this jam as u want and there is never a mismatch of the jam with other foods. The flavour of this jam particularly the mixed fruit one, is like that of a combination of a dessert and jelly. It has a unique taste which can not be substituted.
The packing is the same since my childhood, however a few innovations like larger jars, air tight packaging have also taken birth. The jam is not that expensive. Even if u find the bigger jars expensive, u can still have it in the form of small sachets which are very cheap and have a good amount of jam in it which can be used atleast once to fill ur tummy.
So, the next time u buy a jam, make sure is kissan.
