War between Guilt and Friendship

Khaled Hosseni’s Kite runner is a touching story of friendship nicely intertwined with the political situation(War) of Afganistan. The story is all about the charecter Amir  and how he repurgates himselves of the terrible feel of guilt.

Each character is very nicely shaped and every aspect of them showcases the culture and background of Afghanistan. The story also slightly touches about the miseries of Afghans in the war situation. Their country suffered by Russian and freed only to suffocate in the iron claws of Taliban.

The movie, though mirrors the book including the dialogue, but the book is a page turner and is engrossing with simple but catchy narration.
