In yesterdays episode, March 22, 2004, it starts out with Abhay telling Kali that him, Mahi and Kali are going to Aryaman’s house for Holi. But he reminds Kali that he hasn’t forgiven Nakul for what he did to Kumud and says that Nakul will not be there at Aryaman’s house.
Abhay, Mahi and Kali arrive at Aryaman’s house and put rang on eachother. They tell Kali to go outside because that’s where all the kids are playing Holi. Then Sakshi and Aryaman start playing Holi with each other and Mahi rubs lots of red rang on Abhay’s cheeks. Abhay wants to get back at Mahi, so he grabs a plate of red rang and throws it at Mahi, who is standing by the doorway. Mahi ducks down and Kkusum arrives with Kumud and Simran. The red rang hits Kkusum, but not Kumud and Simran. She has red rang spots on her face and ’coincidentally’ her maang is filled with red rang.
Technically, Abhay has filled Kkusum’s maang with sindhoor. They stare at eachother for a moment and Sakshi comes to greet her. The phone rings and Sakshi tells Kumud to get it while she takes Kkusum to the room so she can wash off the rang. Kumud picks up the phone, and it’s Hari. Before she realizes it’s him, he hangs up. He recognized Kumud and wonders what shes doing there.
Meanwhile, Kkusum is about to take the rang off when Abhay comes into the room. She stops and they look at eachother through the mirror Kkusum was using to take the rang off. He leaves, because he couldn’t bear her taking the sindhoor off. Sakshi enters and tells her not to take the rang off as she was going to be playing Holi anyway.
The kids outside were dancing in the rain to ’Mohabbat Hai Mirchi’, which I thought was a little corny. Kali stops dancing and goes to look for Nakul. She checks her cel phone and Nakul leaves her a message that he will be there in 15 minutes. Excitedly, she runs to go find him, but instead runs into Garv. Kali sneezes and starts coughing, and he hands her a handkerchief. But she asks him why he cares about her, and if he is against Nakul, then he is against her. (Wah! Kya pyaar hai!)
The parents upstairs are talking, and they tell Kumud and SImran to go where the kids are playing Holi. Abhay and Kkusum are staring at each other. Abhay is thinking about how happy he is that she didn’t take the sindhoor off. Kkusum looks away, and Mahi frowns. I think she’s starting to get suspicious again.
Kumud and Simran arrive outside, and Garv and Kshitij see that Kumud and Simran have arrived. Garv goes to meet them. Kali is looking for Nakul, but instead finds Kumud, Simran, and Garv. She tells Kumud that it’s her fault that Nakul wasn’t allowed to come. Kumud becomes upset, but when Kali leaves, Simran tells Kumud not to care for what she says. Kumud and Kshitij’s eyes meet, and they smile at each other. A girl, planning to bring Kshitij and Kumud together, starts playing Holi with Kumud. Kumud runs and bumps into, guess who, Kshitij! They fall and Kumud is on top of him. (Whoa, that doesn’t sound too good!) Then their friends tell them to put rang on each other. He puts shocking pink rang on her cheeks gently, and she rubs shocking pink rang all over his face. (Aww, how cute!)
Kali runs upstairs into Aryaman’s house and goes to talk to Sakshi. She tells her that it’s not fair that Nakul couldn’t come because of Kumud and calls her a liar. Sakshi gets mad and says they’ll talk about it later.
Everyone leaves. Sakshi tells Kkusum that Kshitij will drop off Kumud. Abhay tells Mahi to take Kali home. Abhay and Kkusum say bye to Sakshi and Aryaman, and Aryaman and Sakshi leave. Kkusum is about to leave when Abhay stops her. He told her how happy he was that she didn’t wipe the sindhoor. She told him it never meant anything if there wasn’t a rishta between them. Abhay’s driver honks his horn, and Kkusum tells him his path was calling him. They walked away from eachother, parting ways.
