I normally wouldn’t waste my time reviewing such an awful book, but if I can prevent even one other person from wasting their time reading such filth, I’ll be satsified.
’’The Klone and I’’ is supposed to be an attempt at humor by the famous Danielle Steel. My advice to her, is to stick with what she is good at.
I picked up this book because I enjoy reading Danielle Steel. Yes, sometimes her stories are predictable, and the characters and motifs bear notable similarities from one book to another, but overall, I find her novels to be entertaining and worthwhile, and occasionally even heartwarming.
Well, ’’The Klone and I’’ is certainly unpredictable. You will never know what is about to happen next. The book actually starts out on a promising note but proceeds to reach unimaginable heights of stupidity. I wanted to smack myself on the head for spending Rs. 299 on this book, and I felt even worse for the 3 hours I wasted reading it. I could have slept!
If you have already read this book, please don’t judge Danielle Steel’s skills as an author based on this book. Maybe she was temporarily insane... or drunk.
If you hate Danielle Steel based on this book alone, please, try reading ’’The Gift’’, ’’The Ring’’ or ’’Lightning’’. If you are considering reading this book, please take my advice and don’t waste your time. Take a nap instead.
