Very Yummy & Tasty

I have been a fan of Knorr soups as they are easy to make and my family loves the soups. The soup powder comes in a 52 g pack and is produced by Hindustan Lever Ltd in India. It is very easy to make the soup from the powder and even a novice can easily make it without any trouble. The cooking instructions on the pack are very specific and easy to follow. I just empty the pack of soup powder into 600 ml water and stir it till it starts boiling, then simmer for a few minutes and the soup is ready. This soup serves 4 and is tasty and filling.

Knorr soup powder comes in 3 ranges i.e. classic soup, oriental soup and snacky soup. These soups are wholesome as they contain different vegetables in powder form and they are not heavy. The classic thick tomato soup is liked the most in my house. The snacky soups filled with pasta and noodles are also a favourite in my household. My kids love the tomato soup as it is full of tomatoes and it is a nice combo with other rice dishes they like. One good thing about this soup is that it is free of preservatives. These soups are demanded more during the winter season as it gives instant warmth on having them. The soup tastes best when served piping hot as I have seen that the soup tends to get thick if it is left to cool. It is best eaten when hot and so it is used more during the cooler periods. I have found that the soup does not taste good after it has cooled down. I have often made this soup and served to my family when they have been very hungry and not ready to wait till the lunch/dinner is ready. This has helped me when my kids are not happy with the dish made by me and they have happily had the soup with bread without any complain.

One thing which I dislike about Knorr soups is that it contains monosodium glutamate which is not recommended for infants. After reading about the fact from the pack I am afraid to serve it to my kids as I do not wish to take a chance with their well-being and health. The adults in the family still have this soup and I don’t mind that but I am a bit wary to feed my children after reading about the contents on the pack. I serve it to the elder children but not to infants in my house after I read the details on the pack. I personally like the soup as it gets cooked in just a few minutes and is loved by my family. It saves me time to cook the soup from scratch and the soup combined with other dishes makes the meal satisfying.
