I joined Kochar in Aug 2012. While joining I was thinking that, if I have made the correct choice? But now after 6 months, seeing people growing within organization I am sure that I have made a correct choice in my career.
One thing is sure, if you are looking for 10-7 and stero type work, this is not a place for you. Here in Kochar everyone, right from our G1 employee are different and do different things to provide value add to our customers and clients. Our CEO also agrees to the point that if we are doing something different than others are doing, "that means, we are in Kochar."
I have seen more than 60% of my direct reports are with this organization from 2008 and have seen many ups and down in the organization. However, in difficult times (personal & Professional) Kochar has stood behind them providing every support possible to make the team success. Talking about my experience with my centre head, was very different.
Prior to this I have worked for 3 years as manager Operations in different organization, but my centre head told me to make the process performance best within 3 months. It was a shocker for me and I thought that its not possible, as other organization give 3 months for employee to settle down. But it was a challenge which I took and to my wonder, the entire Kochar team across all locations stood behind me and provided support in all the ways possible.
My job was just to drive the team, and support was just falling in from across all centres and corporate team. This incident made my belief in making dreams come true, and for sure in Kochar we do that only. (Making dreams come true for our customers and clients).
I wish and recommend Kochar for all of you, who wants to work and prove a point in their lives.
