When I thought of honemoon, I first thought of Kodai only as Ooty is commercialised and more crowded. So, I chose Kodai to be our destination and proceded. We travelled to Madras by train and from there by bus to Kodai.
We stayed in a hotel called Siva Priya.we were there for a week and We liked the hotel very much. The food is good for vegetarians and the rooms are very good. My marriage was in october and the weather is quite chill. We liked the view from the balcony of the room.
We visited in and around Kodai on a sight seeing tour bus. We liked the Guna caves, tea gardens, park, water falls, etc. We enjoyed the boat riding and horse riding. We loved Kodai so much that we even wanted to settle down there leaving behind and forgetting our jobs. I would be tourist a guide and my wife will be waiting home for me. We wished to have a house on one of those mountains with only a walk a way approach.
Even though we visited Ooty for our 1st wedding anniversary, we still liked Kodai. We lliked the less crowded, non commercialised, unexplored Kodai compared to the crowded, commercialised OOty.
We still love to visit Kodai again and again.
