Koh-I-Noor: The History of the Worlds Most Infamous Diamond by William Dalrymple and Anita Anand, is published by Juggernaut Books(442 pages).
A mix of myth, history, religion, and culture, this book provides a wealth of information about not only the stone itself, but also about the people, places, and events intertwined with its meandering and unexpected existence.
As I finished the book, I realised how little I knew about Indias, and specially Punjabs, history. A well written book, that I intend to preserve.
