It is to bring to your notice of the Gross Negligence and Mis-management by your Courier Service ( Komitla Logistics ) of a Consignment LR No: 10265 sent from
Banglore ( Silk Board ) on 14 February 2015 to be delivered at ( Andhra Pradhesh ) Vijayawada to Subba Rao .
The consignment was wrongly delivered to Mr Ahmed Khan and after a period of two days - it was found that Mr Ahmed Khan had opened the consignment without permission and good worth INR 16, 0000 is missing from the lot.
We had contacted the said Agents and they were not willing to take any responsibility of the said dis service offered to us .
As consumers who have paid for the service , we are entitled to proper compensation.
As per the Consumer Dispute Act , failure to uphold the terms of the service and unauthorized and negligently transporting the goods to Ahmed Khan and cleared it without presentation of the Bills or LR number amounts to gross negligence on the part of the logistics company.
In such a situation , the loss was incurred to the consumer and we would like you to take adequate action and compensation according to Multi Modal Transportatoin of Good Act 1953.
Before we initiate legal action and file a legal notice we are hereby notifying you of the incident and be advised that your compensatory action or lack of it thereof will be accrued as Inaction before the legal circle we will file a complaint.
We go on record saying that this has caused us great mental consternation and we are utterly disappointed with the Service of Yatra genie and Komitla Logistics.
