Kootathil oruvan is a story of a middle class family student who is average in everything like studies looks personality etc.what happens when he falls in love with a topper girl and how he becomes successfull is the plot of the movie.Performance wise I would say as the film talks about average people the performance is also average by ashok selvan and priya anand. samuthirakanni nailed his part as usual.bala saravanan comedy sequences were dumb.Music I would say was ok some songs were good some did not touch the heart.BGM not nice.Cinematography was okish and simple not too detailed which was due to script.But one thing that does not relate is at last it is shown that a average boy gets commited .A one time watch.
