Recently I had purchased DELL XCD35 from KOOVS.COM and the service rendered is not satisfactory interms of quality of the product, time of delivery and the Customer Service.
I request everyone to read the following before you plan to buy anything from KOOVS.com
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT VS RETURN POLICY:
check out their Terms and Conditions they have link "Terms, Privacy, Returns Etc." but there is no return policy(as on 24/10/2011) and here is the catch they wont take back the product if found defective while on first use and they will suggest to go for the manufacturer warranty. Whereas the other eCommerce sites will give you this freedom of replacement/cashback if found defective.
SHIPMENT:
As stated in their website mostly they ship the product in 7 working days but if there is any delay they will not notify you or you cannot check out the status in "My Account" of Koovs.com about the expedited date of delivery. Even when you try to call the customer support they will ask you to wait until seven working days after the order though they will not able to deliver it on time. IMPORTANTLY they consider both Saturday and Sunday as a non working day. They use BLUEDART and which is better when compare to other courier service.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT TELEPHONE:
Its available 24x6. sometimes you have to wait in the call for 5 minutes before someone answers. Based on my experience I guess they don’t have central logging mechanism i.e you have to explain everything to the customer support executive each time you call them and for me they have stated different reason for the delay of my product each time I called.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAIL:
They will respond to you mostly on the same day but the responses will be generic "Sorry for the inconvenicance the issue has been forwarded to the corresponding team". No matter what you write or how much explanation you give and even you ask for expected date of delivery, you would probably ending with the same generic reply.
So my advice is to keep the KOOVS.COM to your least favorite site so that you may not end up with mental agony and waste of time in order to save some hundred bugs(on discounts) .
