Bought something on the site for 4.5K+ and am regretting every bit if it. I am a lil gullible this time round, I simply got bought on the discount coupons and so on, which by the way are bogus, when it turned up that the company will not honour the deal. Yes you’re right, its a breach of contract. I called them up and their customer service is by first impression a nightmare at 6 phone calls to answer one question and that too with a vague reply. I should have checked the reviews first. Looks like snake oil to me. I really am getting a bad feeling about this deal., especially when they put me on a long hold today, made me call them thrice for a trivial thing as confirming whether my payment has come in and since everything smells snake oil.buyer beware. Apparently the koovs facebook page is the only place where they will reply to your grievances, of course after they’re done announcing beer semi nude fests(prolly gang bangs too who knows) and the rest of the fun and frolic that goes with launching a new unreliable dot com. Anyways, I’m told that they can process my refund only after 21 days. So what they’re doing basically is running a thugging operation on unsuspecting customers on some pretext or the other by keeping the latter’s hard earned money for a month to prolly earn some interest for the company. I’m only looking for a refund now and will wait for a month before I decide to take a step further. If you have the same problems with the site owners shoot me a message.
Update on 19th November 2011:- After several follow ups on their facebook page I finally got my refund. If you’re not Bangalore based, stay away from koovs. I learnt it the hard way.:-(
