This place defies description. The food is good if you are not a gourmet. The service is passable if you are not in a hurry. The decor....well, good if you are not vey fussy.
The ambience?............Superb!
I have a sneaky feeling that Prem Koshy has let this place remain as it is since God knows when, because this is the last bastion of a bygones Bangalore. Kudos to him.
I have sat here with a cup of coffee (yummy) for long hours and yet was never made to feel uncomfortable.
All this and good Kerala and continental food. Fish/Mutton curry - rice meals are absolute value for money. Steaks are above average.
For a Sunday brunch of appam and stew, head there.
