I happen to have a kotak policy with name Kotak Capital Multiplier plan, with
providing insurance and some retirement income after completion of policy.
The sales rep while explaining the policy promised lots of bonuses, extra discounts
but after I signed the policy and paid first month premium, everyhthing is gone.
When I called the guy after a month or so the guy left and joined some other company,
and said I am no more associated with this group, check with customer care for all
your queries/doubts. And this is how these companies operate, they get the guys,
these guys cheats customers, get new policies and then they are gone.
When I Called customer care and asked them I want to close the policy and I paid 2 premiums, what I will get if I close the policy now. They said nothing 1st premium goes to
the sales guy and second premium for their administrative fees and other god knows what expenses so u will not event get back what you paid. To reach to a break even point you neede to pay atleast for 5-6 years.
so this is all a trap to get new customers, beware of such policies and get in written whatever promises they make.
I will not recommend this Group to anyone for Insurance products.
