I had opened up a saving’s bank account with kotak bank. They told me that I would get this as zero balance account if I give them an initial cheque of Rs 30, 000. I had also taken up a policy with them. This policy I cancelled within the grace period. Now after 1 year they started deducting non maintainance charges becoz I am not paying the premium of that policy. On checking my statements I found a note written in my october statement about the above I explained. This is a total crap. All the services that they provide go in vain one they start charging you. Their facilities are excellent. The cheque/cash collection and DD they provide at home, but you ll repent all the facilities, if they charge u even atleast once. The charges are so heavy. I am gonna go and close the account.
