My company decided to open accounts for all at Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB)and deposit all expense vouchers in that bank.......it took about 3 months for these folks to open an account.
They informed the A/C opening kit was sent.....I did not receive it ... one week....another week....another week....after strong escalation through my company I receive assurance from their VP that the duplicate kit will arrive soon..........I recd. a bank cheque book....no kit as yet.
I thought lets begin the account usage as I already had Rs. 24, 000 deposited through my voucher payments.... I give a cheque to my RWA for Rs. 1500/- ..........it is returned by the RWA as the cheque gets rejected with a slip which says my acocunt is blocked for debits ???
I pay with fresh check with my ICICI bank a/c and also have to pay penalty for check bounce..........I call the LLC number mentioned on the slip..it takes me to Max Life Insurance...I try the 1800 number it disconnects again and again and again.......I try another 1800 number mentioned ....it works........I get across after a few tries.....
I get my balance told as Rs. 24, 000/-......and the agent says there is no trace of the bounced check in their records.......I have again escalated through my company.........lets see what happens.......@ customers taken for a ride
