The mesmerizing traditional touch

Honestly, I was pretty sceptic about this place as we were in a hurry and going by the descriptions given by my friends, I though this would be one of those’delay in service’ experiences like many other restaurants specializing in the Indian cuisine. As it is, it is indeed a time taking process to cook our Indian delicacies.

Eventually, we ended up entering this one as most of the other restaurants in the vicinity were either closed or were too crowded for us to find a place to sit. As I was with my fiance, I chose to be at a quite atmosphere and enjoy a quality time with good food.

At the entrance, I was taken by a surprise to see the ethnic Indian look and feel all over. Right from the uniforms of the crew, viz., kurta pyjama to the nicely done seating areas for everyone who wish to enjoy a little bit of privacy while dining. There were’shamiyaanas’ on he left hand side, spread over each seating area with cushions and cozy couch which a few families present there seemed to enjoy.

For the two of us, we had a seating on the other side and we really loved the open air and roof top set-up. The food was really good and the service was prompt. Also, the waiters were pretty polite and understanding and seemed to consider our time crunch to the best of their abilities.

On the whole, I had a quality time with my special one on his last day in Mumbai. That’s what makes the experience, a lot more special and cherishing at the same time.
