Koyla is situated in Koregaon Park. Our experience at Koyla has been one of the worst in recent times. We were really hungry and looking for a good restaurant and suddenly found koyla. There was no private parking so parked our car at a distance from the restaurant. Finally we settled and went through menu. We ordered Chicken Biryani(Rs 250), Paneer tikka roast masala(Rs.290) and Tandoori roti.
After paying such an amount we expect heartful and stomach-fullfood but to our surprise, the food was not only bad but less in quantity too. I could alone finish entire biryani. The only taste we could get was masala test, no original hyderabadi biryani test. Also chicken was half cooked. Lot of garam-masala flakes were put into it. Even panner tikka roast masala was so horrible that my uncle was not able to eat. Roti was thin, small and not very soft. I wonder how people go to such a filthy restaurant.
Even the ambiance was not very promising. The sufiyan theme looked dirty. In fact sofa was actually dirty and the music they were playing was painfully boring. The restaurant did not have a parking of its own.
I would never recommend anyone to go to Koyla.
