I had been a long time customer of KPN travels. Previously the service were good. But as the days rolls on, they ’ve got a fame and so their caring faded on customers. Sometimes they behave uncivilized. I have been travelling regularly from chennai to coimbatore, tirupur and bangalore.
They services r becoming worst.
They raised their fare too. They charge the highest in every classes compared to other small travels. The maintainance was poor too. Earlier the bus departed from Tirupur (coimbatore) by 9.15 PM reach chennai by 6 am. But now a days they delay upto 8 or even 9 am next morning. Also I heard froom other friends that they do delay these also with buses flying from and to other cities and towns as well. On Diwali day, 2005 , I was coming in A/C bus. It started raining on the way. The fun was that the bus was flowing water inside the bus through A/C holes. Every one shouted and stopped the bus. But no alternate was arranged. Its good that they provide shawls in their A/C buses. Their seats are not yet renewed. they have the old seats still. some push back knob will suck ur strength.
But soon I got a remedy for this. ABT parcel service has started a A/c bus service to our place and few places in TN and Bangalore. Their agents came home to deliver tickets with an extra charge of Rs.25/-. The fare was too cheap A/c only Rs.375 from Tirupur to chennai whereas KPN non A/C is Rs.350. Every seat has a reading lamp for book reading. Every seat has plug holes and mobile stand for charging mobiles or using laptops. they provide an eye band to keep our sleep away from lights. they give a mineral water half litre SABOL bottle as a compliment with a tissue paper. Every seat has a seat belt which would prevent falling in sleep. Online booking is available.
They soon gonna launch more buses on more routes. I recomment travel by ABT than KPN.
If KPN is not gonna improvise its service, soon it will loose its reputation and good will.
