I have been travelling with KPN travels, off late, the quality of their services seemed to be deteriorated. We needed to travel to Trichy to attend a family wedding. I had booked on a 2+1 semi - seater bus since the seats of 2+1 are pretty big and comfortable to carry my daughter along. My whole family is allergic to AC and hence I opted for a non AC bus. We reported to Bommanahalli at 9.30 pm for the 10. 15 bus.
However, they announced that 10.15 bus has been cancelled and they allotted 11.00 pm bus. However, the bus reached Bommanahalli only at 12.30 midnight. We were waiting in their office for almost three hours, they do not have toilet facilities also. Once the bus arrived, I was shocked to see that it is AC 2+2 seater bus. On enquiring, they said that ’what madame, AC is better than non AC no’..We boarded the bus and the bus started only by 1.00 midnight. what more, they halted in Salem for around half an hour, but they prohibited passengers from alighting the bus and to use the rest rooms.
After a tormenting journey of seven hours, we reached trichy by 8.00 and the marriage was at 9.00. I have decided never to use KPN travels again. My parents who left to Trichy a day before used KSRTC sleeper and their experience was wonderful. Guys, KSRTC offers good deals at cheaper costs. The bus drivers are also friendly.
